I own a '99 V92C, which I wouldn't trade for anything – NOW. I have not however, always felt that way. I bought the bike new in the summer of '99. I wouldn't have said then that it was the best ride I ever had; but, things have changed considerably since.

Suffice to say, it had not been set up properly from day one. I never realized just how far off the mark it was, (i.e. being a new bike in the mix, well, that's the way it was), until I recently took it to Randy's Cycle in Huntley, Illinois. His mechanic (Jim) found and replaced a bad TPS (Throttle Positioning Sensor) and properly adjusted and set it according to the latest computer software by Victory. The bike now runs like it should have all along, (but never did).

In the fall of '06, I received a letter from Victory offering [the chance to update] the transmission of my bike to match the newest Victory technology. This is something I wouldn't ever have considered doing prior to Randy's Cycle working on it and getting it to run properly.

I took the bike back to Randy's, letter in hand, and told him to have at it. He performed the update in short order and I now have a '99 Victory which runs and rides like a new machine. I am completely pleased with the performance of my Victory. It's like having a new machine all over again. One that rides even better then when it was new.

It's unfortunate that my Victory and I got off to a bad start, but, I'm glad I stuck with it and I'm grateful to Randy's Cycle in Huntley, Illinois, for being the conscientious dealership that they are. I very strongly recommend them to anyone in need of quality workmanship on their motorcycle.
