Dan Stowell: This Lucky Guy Has a Victory & a Great Wife
It is easy to see why Dan\'s Victory Vegas gets all the attention when he rides with his retro-red-riding co-worker.
Dan submitted his letter and photos prior to the 2007 Rocky Mountain American Victory Rally.

Dear Victory Riders,

I am writing to inform you of how lucky I am. I was dating my wife, Pam, in the summer of '02. My good friend had me talked into putting money down on a Fire Fighter Edition Harley. We work together for the Idaho Falls Fire Department.

The only problem was my relationship with Pam was moving forward. I asked her to marry me instead of getting the bike. She knew from the beginning that I wanted a bike.

My friend got his Fire Fighter Edition (as seen in the picture). In January of '03, I read an article about the forthcoming Victory Vegas. I have always been a Polaris fan and fell in love with the Vegas.

I showed Pam the picture of the Vegas and she was very supportive. We went to our local dealer, Action Motor Sports in Idaho Falls, and got what info I could from those that had seen them at the dealer shows.

I put money down for the first silver one to show. It arrived the first of June and just like being there for my first born child, I heard it start for the first time.

How much luck can a guy have to marry a great woman who would allow me to do that at the beginning of a marriage?

And just as much luck to get such a great bike as the Victory Vegas.

My friend with the bright fire engine red Harley gets so mad that my bike gets so much more attention than his when we go riding together. The whole thing is just priceless. Thus the plate: “Lucky some be” – LKYSMB.

Thanks Victory for the good times and such a great American heritage. Pam will be with me this year at the Rocky Mountain Victory ride in Colorado. See you there.

Thanks,

– Dan Stowell
