I was the first one in my area to buy a Vegas 8-Ball in ‘05. Within the next year, I made several modifications to the bike, making it my own.
In ‘06, you came out with the Vegas Jackpot. I then wondered when you were going to make an 8-ball 250. I couldn't wait any longer, so I researched the possibility of converting my bike over. Some people told me I could, while others said I couldn't.
I decided to do it.
The modification started with a Jackpot rear swing arm, rear wheel, rear sprocket, a custom made drive pulley and a lot of homemade engineering. I added a flat top 11-inch rear fender in which I recessed LED lights.
I designed the side plate bracket, a new Ness exhaust mount and raised the fuel tank to give the bike that chopper look. I lowered the bike an inch and a half, added directional mirrors, and a Jackpot billet headlight. I finished the conversion with the addition of Ness parts and a custom graphic paint job to keep the bike simple.
The bike is an attention getter where ever I go. I have been riding bikes all my life. I have never ridden a bike as well balanced as this one. Within the first 50 feet of leaving the dealership, I felt like I had been riding this bike all my life.
