Vickie Morris: Showing That a Woman Can Handle – and Enjoy! – a Full-Sized Cruiser
Vickie hopes additional women realize they, too, can handle a full-sized cruiser.
I'm 52, a divorced mother of a 34-year-old son and I’m a registered nurse. I live in Winter Haven, Florida.

I hadn't ridden a motorcycle for over 30 years but began riding one year ago again. After my divorce I was looking for a new hobby.

I met a guy who rides a V-Max. After several “uneasy” rides on the back of this bike I decided that riding on the back wasn't for me. I took the motorcycle riding safety course and began searching for the perfect bike for me.

After much searching I found a the 2001 Victory V92C Deluxe you see in the picture.

Riding a bike this size was a challenge since I’m 5'6" and 135 lbs. Fortunately this bike is well balanced and easy to maneuver.

I ride on poker runs, rides with the girls, and couple rides mostly around Polk County, Florida. I went to the Victory rally in Alabama in September 2006 and had a blast.

This is the only bike I have ever owned but hope to own a Hammer next year.

Thank you for publishing the picture. Hopefully more women will realize owning a bike this size can be fun.
