Hello,
My name's Laurie and my Victory purchase was pure fate.

My husband Chris wanted to see how I fit on a Hammer S. We went into the showroom and I saw the Hammer S and sat on it, but right next to it was this Custom 8-Ball sitting on a stand and I said "I want that one!"

I sold my Honda and bought my first Victory!

Special thanks to the crew at J&W Cycles in Washington, Missouri.

These photos were taken along the Grafton, Illinois, river road, which is known as one of the top 10 scenic riding roads in the nation. We typically try to ride with our group of friends but otherwise, it's just me and my man.

We have not attempted any overnight rides but would love the opportunity if our jobs would allow it. Thanks for the opportunity to show off my ride!

Webmaster’s Note: According to Laurie, her bike “is scheduled to be on display at the Wide Open Bike Show in Kansas City on May 5th with the owner of Mayhem Airbrush, Tim Kohl. This will be its second show and the Victory dealer, J&W Cycles, has requested to use it for a show in June.” She also defended her husband’s bike brand, noting that the guy “in the photo is my husband, Chris Draper with his V-Rod (Night Rod Special). Sorry it's a HD, but keep in mind he's the one who got me interested in the Victory and he has applied for positions with Polaris on several occasions and is looking for a 2006 Cory Ness to trade his DX for. LOL!”
