July 4: Happy Birthday Victory Riders!
Posing in the Spirit Lake plant with V92C No. 1 in July 1998 were (l-r, with their titles at the time): CEO Hall Wendel, new Polaris President Tom Tiller, Victory G.M. Matt Parks, and outgoing Polaris President Ken Larson.
July 4 is the birthday of the first production-model Victory ever made. On July 4, 1998, a group of employees at the Spirit Lake, Iowa, Polaris-Victory assembly facility spent part of their holiday building V92C No. 1.
That got "The New American Motorcycle" on the open road, and it's been a great 11 years of riding coast to coast since then.
Happy Birthday Victory and all Victory Riders!
