Not exactly a picture of me riding but it is my ’07 Jackpot “Fire n’ Ice” at 10,000+ feet atop the Beartooth Pass [in October].
We had a little rain and light snow on the way to Cooke City but the skies cleared for the ride home. You never know what kind of weather you’ll see at the top until you are there.
The pass was closed for the winter last week [in October] due to heavy snow. When it reopens around Memorial Day, there will be 15 to 20 foot walls of snow on either side of the road in places. Pretty awesome to ride through.
