My name is Gary Matthews and Iām from Pasadena, Maryland.
I purchased my Victory Vision Premium from Chesapeake Cycles in Annapolis, Maryland, in October 2007. I have done some paint work to the access panel by painting it black and putting my old man's handle on it as a tribute to him.
The trim panel on the top at the radio was also painted black, along with the two side panels just at the front of the saddlebags. I wanted to black the bike out more and give it a sleeker look.
I also added a Blade-style windshield for the summer months. The Stage 2 Exhaust Kit that was installed sounds nice and looks great. Thanks for the extra power.
I added the Touring Box to the bike later because the wife wanted it, along with highway pegs for more comfort for me. The iPod hook-up is fantastic, no more messing with CDs.
I took the bike to a local bike show at Cancun Cantina.com. It is one of the area's largest bike shows, with over 40 entries in many different classes. My Victory Vision took 1st place in the ā08 class. This was the first bike show of the year and the first time I ever but my bike in a show.
First place. Not bad. Most of the bikes at this show are Harleys. All these Harley guys and gals where all over my bike looking at it and taking pictures. The people that I spoke to could not believe all the features that this thing has. The conversations were many and long, but all were stunned to see something like this that they have never seen before.
Thanks for making such a fantastic bike.
ā Gary Matthews
