In April, when Victory Women were featured here on the Victory website, one of the featured riders was Vegas 8-Ball rider Laurie Draper. Her husband Chris was in some of the photos of Laurie with her bike, and Chris at the time was riding a Harley.
As they say, that was then, this is now:
“My wife Laurie was a Rider of the Month in April after we picked up her new custom painted 8-Ball,” Chris wrote. “Well… it didn't take long for me to sell the HD and now we have two Victorys. I picked up my white Jackpot [near the start of October].”
Chris purchased his Vegas Jackpot from Bikers Dream in East Peoria, Illinois.
“Although I appreciated my V-Rod's performance, the riding position wasn't for me. After riding Laurie's bike several times, I really felt more comfortable on the Victory and made the switch.”
Laurie’s bike, which features custom paint by Tim Kohl of Mayhem Airbrush, is adding hardware to Laurie’s trophy collection. Chris reported: “Laurie's 8-Ball continues to rack up the bike show wins. She has five overall wins and has placed in every show she has entered.”
But now that you’re a Victory Rider, we’d call you a winner as well, Chris.
