Hats off to the Victory Riders of Colorado whose awesome bikes and excellent riding experiences helped convince Wayne Jones that he would enjoy riding a Victory more than his old bike.
Wayne was riding a Yamaha V-Star 1100, but was thinking long and hard about buying a Victory. He rides with several Colorado Victory legends – Karma, Dean & Ross, to name three – and he joined them on Saturday for a ride to Grand Prix Motorsports in Littleton, Colorado.
The guys took Victory demo rides (which earned each of them a Victory Challenge T-shirt) and Wayne rode a 2006 Kingpin with a lot of extra chrome. He gave the bike serious consideration, but walked away from the dealership.
Actually, he rode away on his Yamaha and the group took a fun ride into the mountains and had lunch. Karma noted to Wayne that the dealership also had a 2007 Kingpin Tour. Wayne decided to take a look at that bike, and this time he couldn’t say no.
He bought it, and he and his wife Pam rang the bell hanging inside Grand Prix to signal they had just purchased a vehicle.
Wayne immediately put the bike to good use, leading the pack of Victorys south toward Colorado Springs – and setting a lively pace.
“Wayne led on the way home and showed us 96-inch boys what the 100-inch will do effortlessly,” Ross reported.
Congrats to Wayne and Pam. Great to have you as Victory Riders.
Grand Prix Motorsports is located at
3105 W. County Line Rd. in Littleton, CO 80129. The dealership will host a Victory Challenge Demo Tour event on April 11-13.
