Motor Cycle News Honors Victory Vision in Bike’s First Year in England

MEDINA, MN (Dec. 1, 2008) – The award-winning Victory Vision is now an international award winner, as it was recently named “Tourer of the Year” by Motor Cycle News, the U.K.’s largest-circulation motorcycle magazine. Plus, the Victory Vegas 8-Ball was a finalist for the magazine’s prestigious honor of Cruiser of the Year.

Motor Cycle News (MCN) is the U.K.'s best-selling motorcycle publication with a weekly circulation of nearly 130,000 and a popular website (www.motorcyclenews.com). The magazine’s 12th annual award ceremony was held November 27 in Birmingham, England, with British comedian, actor and lifelong motorcycling enthusiast Alan Davies as the host. The award winners were determined by a panel of industry experts assembled by the magazine.

"This is a fantastic finale to Victory's celebrations of its 10th anniversary year," said Ross Clifford, General Manager of Polaris Britain Ltd. "It's a great honor for Victory to pick up an MCN Award at its first attempt and it represents a significant step forward in the company's international expansion plans for the brand."
