Our favorite woman Victory Rider – Sue Victory – has checked in from Washington with a report on a local toy run. It might be improper to play favorites, but come on, Sue’s name makes her the namesake for the brand. If she were to tell us “I changed my name after buying this great motorcycle,” we would love her even more. Here is her report:
“The annual Toy Run in Olympia, Washington, was held on Saturday, December 1, 2007. Rarely do we see snow in Olympia but this was the day… 33 degrees and heavy snow.
“But the snow did not deter motorcycle enthusiasts. Over 5,800 motorcycles contributed more than $50,000 to the local Salvation Army to help families in need. The Toy Run is organized by the local ABATE club and is purported to be one of the largest in the nation.
“I was there, as I have been in past years, but this time I was riding my 2006 Victory 8-Ball – and wearing as many layers of clothes as I could get on…”
