It’s Monday in Sturgis, the official start of rally week, and Victory is generating lots of buzz with its 2010 lineup, especially the new Victory Cross Country and Cross Roads.
The Victory Store on Main Street opened Saturday and has been packed with riders checking out the new bikes as well as the other 2010 models and the Victory at Sturgis apparel being offered by the staff of Rice Victory, the Rapid City dealership.
The Cross Country was spotted on the road Saturday as it covered 200 miles of scenic byways while ridden by Glen Gralheer. Glen was the Program Leader for the development of the two new Victory Touring bikes, so he enjoyed talking with riders who were drawn to the new Victory Cross Country.
The new Victory Touring bikes along with the complete 2010 lineup is on display at the Victory Demo Ride Site. Demo rides are not available at Sturgis on the new Victory Cross Country and Cross Roads.
As the Victory team set up the demo site on Sunday, dozens of Victory Riders stopped by to see the bikes and say hello. The Victory Demo Ride Site – like the Victory Store and Ride Victory, where a Victory Riders’ lunch will be held Wednesday from noon to 2 p.m. – will all be smokin’ busy all week.
