Victory Riders went to the New England Dragways on Friday, September 28, to enjoy a night of Big V-Twin drag racing. Several Victory Riders took their Victorys onto the track for a little fun and competition, and the models running included a Victory Vision. It was believed to be the first Victory Vision dragstrip appearance other than pre-production strip testing by Victory engineers. The dragstrip night was part of the Victory Turning Leaf Rally being held in Arundel, Maine. Additional rally coverage will follow here on the VRA Page.
The quick report from Mark Luz, who submitted these photos:
“ Just got back from New England Dragway… that was cool! Ever see a Victory Vision run though the 1/4 mile at a dragway? Probably 25-30 Vics participated in the racing with another 40 or so parked. A very good showing and a lot of fun to watch. Lloyd Greer [of Lloydz Motorworkz ] ran his nitrous V92C in the high 11's, low 12 at close to 120 mph. Impressive.”
