Stella the Cat says the new saddlebags are plenty big.

Halloween’s approaching. Are you dressing up? If you do, send us a photo of you in your costume on your Victory.

We’re hoping Joe “Rock to Rock” Klein will once again appear in the New York/New Jersey area as “The Riding Nun.”

Let’s see you in your favorite costumes. Drop us a line via the Victory Mailbag.

Big Bags, continued
We still want your contributions to the “Those saddlebags on the Victory Cross Country and Cross Roads are so big that…”

Our featured photo shows that those bags are so big, they’ll easily accommodate the world’s cutest cat.

And they are so easy to get off the bike, you can bring them inside for that house cat to explore.

How big do you think the saddlebags are? Send your completion of the statement “they’re so big that…” to the Victory Mailbag.

Victory Vision Cargo Power
Brent and Paula Shaw from Panama City, Florida, wrote to say they’re able to get quite a load of cargo on their Victory Vision.

“I know it's not a Victory Cross Roads or Cross Country,” Brent wrote, “but our '08 Victory Vision can hold $186.00 worth of groceries – and still hold Paula and myself.

“I did strap a frozen pizza to the luggage rack. Still frozen when I arrived home.”

Well done, guys.

Brent is the Victory Sales Ambassador at Distinctive Cycles in Freeport, Florida, and they’ve got a great holiday event coming up.

In an e-mail to customers and friends, Brent wrote:

“OK. Christmas is coming. Times are tight, believe me I know! But we all can do our part to spread happiness and joy to children in our area.

“Saturday, December 5, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., is the "FILL THE EMPTY STOCKING" Open House and Ride In at Distinctive Cycles.

“Santa will be for all the children (young and old), and of course some hot food.

“Bring in a NEW, UNWRAPPED TOY and the Freeport Fire and Rescue squad will deliver them (ok, Santa will) to people in our local area.

“Remember, December 5th at Distinctive Cycles.”

The dealership contact info appears below. Sounds like a great event, and here’s a tip of the helmet to all you generous riders out there.

If any other groups or Victory dealers have holiday charity events coming up, let us know and we’ll help spread the word. And if you take part in a toy run, get a photo of you on your Victory and let us share it with everybody. Drop us a line via the Victory Mailbag.
