The Victory Blog: Big Bags, Pure Victory Polishes, TigerLily & Burl & Demo Tour Edition
Long-distance Victory Rider Lily with a furry little friend.

The saddlebags on the new Victory Cross Country and Cross Roads are so big:

• You can see them from outer space.
• A kid in a helium balloon could get lost in one. (And get found later in the attic of the saddlebag.)
• Paul Bunyan sleeps in one instead of renting a hotel room. (Babe the Blue Ox sleeps in the other bag.)
• NASA is launching a landing vehicle to search for water inside one. (Won’t find any, thanks to their excellent lid seal.)
• Each of the new bikes gets shipped to a Victory dealer in three crates: One crate for the bike and one crate for each bag.
• The front of the bag is in one Zip Code and the rear of the bag’s in another one.
• They’re bigger than Chuck Norris.

How big do you think they are? Send your version of “they’re so big that…” to the Victory Mailbag.

Pure Victory Polishes Team at Biketoberfest
If you’re heading to Daytona for Biketoberfest, stop by Destination Daytona and say hello to the Pure Victory Polishes folks.

Larry Meservey, Sr., and wife Ann are at Destination through Sunday with the Pure Victory Polishes motor coach, displaying and selling polishes and cleaning products. Look for them at the coach in the parking lot near the main building.

Meanwhile, Larry, Jr., and big Moose the dog are back at the shop detailing bikes.

New Bikes at Biketoberfest
Also at Biketoberfest are the new Victory touring bikes – the Victory Cross Country and Victory Cross Roads. They’re on display Thursday through Sunday in the vendor area along U.S. 1, across the road from the Iron Horse Saloon in Ormond Beach.

To check the location and find directions for yourself, use this address in your GPS or a map program such as Google Maps or Mapquest: 1069 N. US 1, Ormond Beach, FL 32174

Lobsterfest Countdown & Mileage Masters!
Bladder control is getting more difficult among Victory Riders in – or headed to – Florida! After all, Lobsterfest is Saturday, October, 17, in Palm Bay, Florida.

Be sure to check out TigerLily’s Thread on the VMC website. She and her man Burl rode their Victorys from Northern California to Florida for Lobsterfest!

They left home around the first of October, enjoyed some Texas hospitality from a great bunch of Lone Star State Victory Riders, and they have arrived in Florida. Let’s just say they were staying with Lily’s friend BT Deb.

Have fun, all you HAVCFers!

The official Lobsterfest countdown clock is ticking away on the HAVCF home page.
