Just to clarify, you’re in the right place if you’re looking for The Victory Blog, not The Spyder Blog.
Also, let’s clarify the point of the “Victory Rider of the Year” article that appeared in the most recent issue of Victory Rider.
The article rhetorically recommended several riders for the honor of Victory Rider of the Year because they embody the spirit and the passion for riding that makes Victory Riders unique.
The magazine editors invited readers to submit names of any other Victory Riders they felt deserved praise and recognition, and several additional names have been submitted via the Victory Mailbag.
The Victory Mailbag has also been filling up fast with e-mails from riders voting for people such as Dub Perry, Sydney “Fishwitch” Sheppard, Greg Moe, “Lonestar” Johnny Britton and Scott Kietzmann.
Just to clarify, there’s no official vote and no official award (at least not yet; maybe there should be), but your votes and comments and nominations are more than welcome. Send all mail to the Victory Mailbag.
Ride the New Victory Cross Country & Cross Roads! Over the past couple months, it’s been amusing to read bloggers complain that Victory isn’t letting respected bloggers ride the new Victory Cross Country and Cross Roads. And it’s been funny to read riders claim they would never buy a bike they haven’t test-ridden. If you’ve ridden every new bike you’ve purchased over the years, you have found dealers who don’t use the “no can do – insurance, you know?” excuse for not letting you ride pre-purchase.
Patience is a virtue, and all good things are coming to those who wait for the Victory Challenge Demo Tour to visit a Victory dealership near them.
The Victory Cross Country and Victory Cross Roads will be included in the demo fleets at all upcoming Demo Tour stops (in Arizona and Florida, per the latest schedule) as well as at the Long Beach, California, International Motorcycle Show, December 4-6.
Note that the demo trucks were already packed with fleets of demo and display bikes, so there is only one Victory Cross Country and one Victory Cross Roads available for demos per truck. But check the demo hours with your dealer and get out there and ride.
Take a Victory for a Ride The Victory 18-wheelers are headed to Arizona and Florida, so invite a friend to join you and get out there and ride.

Shiver Me Timbers! Legendary Victory webmaster Jeff Martini is hitting the high seas. He is parking his Lloydz-modified V92C to work on the crew of a whale watching boat cruising from New England to Florida.
This might set nautical progress back a few years.
But it sounds like a lot of fun, too, so enjoy yourself, Jeff.
