The 2009 Sturgis Rally raged on Sunday and Monday, and featured a growing number of Victory Riders on the scene, including:

Bob and Peggy Porter of Casper, Wyoming. They ride on a 1999 V92C, No. 145, which they have customized to absolutely optimize their riding experience. It was the first Victory in Wyoming and it has to be one of the best still.

Darren Noble of Syracuse, Utah. He rode to Sturgis on his 1999 V92C (KYSO Blue) and was the first Victory Rider to get his Victory Sturgis Passport stamped at all five stops in the area. He received a 2008 Victory Sturgis pin and is entered in a drawing to be featured in Victory Rider Magazine.

Victory Demo Rides on Monday were busier than Lazelle Street, which leads to the Buffalo Chip Campground, where Kid Rock was drawing a large crowd Monday night. And the downtown Victory Store on Monday was busier than a bottle opener at downtown Sturgis saloon. And believe it, that is busy.

The first of the major Victory 10th Anniversary Celebrations is the VRA Party Sturgis on Friday, August 8, from noon to 2 at the Spearfish Canyon Lodge.
