Herbie Corrigan sent a very brief e-mail note with a photo captioned: “Here is a picture of me giving my daughter away at her wedding on June 20, 2009, on my 2007 Victory Kingpin.”
Detective work by the VRA Page web staff leads us to believe Herbie and his wife Paula live in New Brunswick, Canada, and that his daughter’s name is Kathleen.
If this isn’t correct, or if you want to provide more details, Herbie, we would love to hear from you via the Victory Mailbag.
Welcome, Juliet The world got a little more beautiful recently.
Emily Nemecek, Art Director of Victory Rider magazine, gave birth to Juliet Jude Nemecek on June 27, 2009. Congrats to Emily and husband Dave.
Juliet was a Victory Rider before she was born. Last summer the Victory Rider staff conducted testing on a couple of Pure Victory Gear jackets and a passenger backrest for the Victory Vision Street. Emily tested a women’s leather jacket and rode passenger on the bike for the tests and photo shoot.
She announced shortly thereafter that she had, indeed, been pregnant during the test riding, so Juliet was along for the ride. Here’s hoping we don’t get ticketed retroactively for riding three-up!
Welcome, Juliet!

Dragstrip Performance The race continues for the quickest and fastest Victory drag bike. The latest top-speed leader is Mike “Jethro” Pearce of Georgia, who recently posted a quarter-mile time of 10.11 seconds at 135.8 mph at the Silver Dollar Raceway in Reynolds, Georgia.
Jethro’s race-prepped V92C with a Lloydz Motor Workz motor covered the first 60 feet in just 1.50 seconds.
Jethro has also posted a 10.18 at 133 mph on the bike this summer, and is determined to wring a sub-10-second run out of it.
We’ll try to stay current on the dragstrip performance of Jethro and Victory Rider Dave Koehmstedt of PsychoMotive Racing, who earlier this summer posted a 10.59 quarter-mile time at 130.13 mph.
