Four Polaris racers made it to the Winter X-Games final. #5 Mike Schultz (Avalanche Racing/Rockstar), #108 Levi LaVallee (Hentges Racing/Pirtek), #44 TJ Gulla (Hentges Racing/Pirtek) and #19 Brett Bender (Hentges Racing/Pirtek). LaVallee, Schultz and Gulla qualified in round one qualifying. Bender went on to the second round where he won his heat race putting him in the final.

Anticipation was in the air as the X-Game final grew closer. There would be twelve racers on the line racing 18 laps for the gold. When the green flag was thrown all twelve sleds thundered off the line with Ryan Simons grabbing the lead. By the end of lap two it was Simons followed by Tucker Hibbert, Matt Piche, and Carl Schubitzke. Gulla slotted into 5th and Levi LaVallee in 6th, Schultz in 7th and Bender in the back of the pack. By lap three Gulla had moved solidly into 4th with LaVallee still in 6th. Hibbert took over the lead on lap five. The order didn’t change much until lap 12 when Gulla passed Schubitzke to take over 3rd place.

At the checkered flag it was Tucker Hibbert taking the Gold, Ryan Simons taking Silver and TJ Gulla capturing the Bronze medal. The rest of the finishing order was #6 Carl Schubitzke in 4th, #101 Katejun Coonishish 5th, #108 Levi LaVallee 6th, #93 Iain Hayden 7th, #27 Mathieu Morin 8th, #5 Mike Schultz 9th, #518 Matthew Piche 10th, #19 Brett Bender 11th and #196 Brett Turcotte 12th.

Congratulations to #44 TJ Gulla on winning the Bronze medal at the 2007 Winter X-Games.
