Snowmobilers have never before had such an opportunity to get so much sled for so little money.
The 2008 Polaris IQ Shift is a stealthy, all-black, no-graphics IQ model with a powerful Liberty 600 H.O. engine and the innovative IQ chassis, yet it carries a remarkably low manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP).
Snowmobilers at Haydays saw the “Shift Experience” display at the Polaris exhibit, and it reinforced how much premium-quality sled was available for such a reasonable price.
The Shift Experience display included a 1989 Indy 500 – which was a phenomenal sled for its time. Well, when you factor in inflation, you would pay more for that 1989 Indy 500 (in 2007 dollars) than for a 2008 IQ Shift – yet the Shift offers far-superior power, ride and handling.
The Shift Experience display included loads of details about the new sled and its value as well as a display of all the accessories available for a rider to personalize and customize the sled.
