The RANGER RZR continued its winning ways by sweeping the podium at Pit Bull Tires King of the Hammers race. With twice as large a field as last year and five manufacturers represented, the event in Johnson Valley, California, was a great test of side-by-side performance, and the Polaris entries dominated.
The 58-mile race course took racers across a variety of terrain, including flat lake beds, steep rocky canyons and brutally rough desert sections.
Defending champion and solo racer Mitch Guthrie piloted his No. 555 RANGER RZR to victory, and in second was the No. 11 RANGER RZR of Kyle Knosp. In third was Brandon Schueler with the No. 1919 Jagged X/Polaris Racing RANGER RZR that was featured on the TV show, Destination Polaris.
King of the Hammers is a week full of off-road fun that continues to grow each year with spectators and competitors coming from all over the world.
