RJ Anderson and His RANGER RZR S Win Again on the TORC Circuit
.
RJ Anderson had another successful weekend at rounds three and four of the TORC short course series at Perris Auto Speedway in Perris California. He came away with a first and a second in a weekend of great racing.

In Round Three action, TORC’s inverted starting grid required Anderson, the fastest qualifier, to start with his RANGER RZR S at the back of the pack. Despite this, by halfway through the race he had worked his way up to third place. Then, with two laps to go, he made the money pass for the lead and the victory.

“My RANGER RZR S was working great and we had new shock valving and an improved clutch setup for the race,” Anderson said. “We were just taking it easy until two laps to go and we really went for it, taking the lead and we held it to the finish.”

For Round Four, Anderson started in sixth position and once again he worked his way up to second place by the final laps. On the last lap, he was side by side with the leader and drifted wide and hit the outside wall pretty hard.

“We broke something in the rear of the RZR and I was happy to just limp it home for a second-place finish,” Anderson said.

With his first- and second-place finishes, Anderson extended his points lead to 88 with just two rounds remaining.

Anderson is sponsored by Walker Evans Racing Shocks, Polaris ORV, Kroyer Racing Engines, South Point Casinos, Goodyear and Holz Racing Products.
