In what has become an annual tradition, Polaris has introduced a special group of Limited Edition (LE) RANGER models for 2006, and this year’s LE lineup is truly special.
Each year, the RANGER product development team uses input from RANGER owners and dealers to create these LE models with features that satisfy the wish lists of outdoor enthusiasts and busy RANGER owners.
This year’s LE RANGER models were scheduled to begin reaching RANGER dealerships in March, but as their name suggests, they are available in limited quantities – so don’t wait too long to check them out. The 2006 LE RANGER lineup includes these four models:
• 2006 RANGER XP Midnight Blue: A Midnight Blue XP that combines Xtreme Off-Road Performance with Xtreme Attitude.
• 2006 RANGER XP Silver Graphite Flame: The Super Graphite Flame paint invites owners to take a walk on the wild side.
• 2006 RANGER 4x4 500 EFI Mossy Oak™: A model that enhances the thrill of the hunt in all conditions.
• 2006 RANGER XP Mossy Oak™ Browning® Edition: This is truly “The Ultimate Hunting Machine.”

2006 RANGER XP Midnight Blue
The Midnight Blue XP offers all the extreme off-road performance of RANGER XP with a 700 EFI engine providing 29% more torque, 150% more covered storage, 250 pounds of additional towing capacity and a top speed of 44 mph.
Special features that are standard on this LE model include:
▪ Custom Midnight Blue painted color body (hood, dash, glove box)
▪ Cloud Silver suspension springs, rear A-arms, cab frame, bumpers and grille
▪ Custom-stitched blue/silver/black deluxe seat
▪ Cast aluminum rims with Carlisle® PXT tires
The MSRP (U.S.) is $10,799, and the MSRP (Canada) is $15,549.
2006 RANGER XP Super Graphite Flame
The RANGER XP displays its wild side with this special graphics package and it practically screams “Xtreme!”
Along with the 700 EFI engine, additional features that are standard on this LE model include:
▪ Super Graphite painted color body (hood, dash, glove box)
▪ Flame graphics on hood, side and back cargo boxes
▪ Cloud Silver painted cab frame, front bumper with extenders, rear bumper, A-Arm and nerf bars
▪ Indy Red front and rear springs
▪ Custom-stitched silver/black/red deluxe seat
▪ Cast aluminum rims with Carlisle® PXT tires

2006 RANGER 4x4 500 EFI Mossy Oak™
Here’s a RANGER that really lets outdoors enthusiasts enjoy the thrill of the hunt on all types of terrain and riding conditions.
This machine has all of the hardest working, smoothest riding features of the RANGER 4x4, including: 1,000 lb. cargo capacity, 1,500 lb payload/towing capacity and 41 mph top speed. Plus, it has Mossy Oak™ graphics applied to its bodywork to blend in with the outdoors surroundings.
The RANGER 4x4’s Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) and Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) ensure that riders will experience a great hunt regardless of what Mother Nature serves up.
