ATV racers aboard the Polaris Outlaw 525 dominated the technical Pyrenean trails of the Baja Iraty Quad Race, outrunning some of the world’s best enduro specialists and taking all three podium spots.
Nineteen-year-old Polaris racer Bastien Paquereau showed his racing intelligence by winning his first main racing event. His mentor, enduro master Thierry Chevrot, finished second even after enduring a couple of tire punctures.
Finishing third was privateer Christophe Paquereau on his Outlaw 525.
Betty Kraft, coming off two consecutive wins at Dakar and Rallye des Gazelles, took fifth overall.
The Baja Iraty Quad Race was organized by Soule Quad Passion.
