Factory Polaris/Rath/Duro Rider Daryl Rath spent the first weekend of August collecting wins on the Sportsman 850 XP.
His winning weekend was started Saturday, Aug 1, at the OMA National being held at the legendary Millville MX track, near Millville, Minnesota.
The Millville track is well known for hosting the Outdoor MX Nationals and it was perfect for cross-country ATV racing action as well.
With the GNCC circuit on its summer break, the Rath crew and Polaris development staff are busy conducting additional testing and development on their race bikes.
Rath won his class in Saturday racing at Millville and placed sixth overall.
“I think this is the best the bike has felt all season,” he said. “We have dug in hard to put together a winning program and that effort is starting to show with the results.”
On Saturday night, the team traveled to Decatur City, Iowa, for the Sunday, August 2, Round 5 racing on the IATVHSS circuit.
“The IATVHSS Series is one I really enjoy racing,” Rath said. “The people, the tracks and the rider turnout are hard to beat. I have been wanting a win there for quite some time and it was a great feeling to put the Sportsman XP back on the podium.”
