Brian Konnad: Happy Rider is Part of a True Polaris ATV Family
That looks like Brian Konnad on his Outlaw.
Hello, my name is Brian Konnad. I live in Lakeville, Minnesota, which is about a half-hour south of the Twin Cities.

I am only 20 years old and I am on my fourth Polaris ATV. Back in 2000 my dad bought a pair of Trail Boss 325s. I had never ridden a quad before so it was a good entry-level machine for me to learn on and for my dad to get back in the groove of ATVs. He had dirt bikes, 3-wheelers and 4-wheelers back in the day, but not for 20 years.

That first summer was awesome. I learned so much from my dad, I instantly new I would be hooked for life. At the time when my dad bought our first two Trail Bosses, no one else in the family had wheelers. Now, because of my dad encouraging others to buy wheelers – especially Polaris – there are 12 people in the family who have them.

In the span of the last seven years my dad and I have managed to keep up our stable of wheelers as well. Since the first Trail Bosses we have managed to purchase 13 different Polaris ATVs. And every one of them has been great.

Currently, I mainly pilot my 2006 Polaris Outlaw 500. I also have a 2007 Sportsman 700 EFI and a 2007 Hawkeye 300. My dad rides the Sportsman, and my little sister the Hawkeye. My eldest sister has a 2006 Polaris Trail Boss 330. Her husband mainly rides it whenever we go on trips.

The Outlaw is the best handling machine I have ever ridden. It is super quick and the top end is great as well. I am 6' 3'', 240 pounds, and my Outlaw has hit [impressive speeds]. It is completely stock, other than new front and rear Polaris bumpers. I also put a K&N air filter in to breath better.

I don’t care who you are or what you ride, the Sportsman 700 EFI is – I swear – more comfortable to ride on than most cars, and that’s what makes it so great. I always love getting to winch out my cousins who ride Yamahas. It is a great feeling.

Through all of the many miles and miles of trails, dirt roads, mud holes and rock patches, there is always a constant the remains the same: I am aboard my Polaris ATV. As long as I am on my Polaris ATV and there is gas in the tank, I will be able to count on it for a long time.

Thank you Polaris, YOU ROCK! My family and I will always be loyal and watching for the latest and greatest thing to roll off the assembly line.
