Adam Swalls of Little Rock, Arkansas, isn’t a superhero, but he
undoubtedly felt like one after Victory named him the winner of its
Victory Challenge Sweepstakes, a “Fantastic Four”-inspired motorcycle
giveaway that attracted entrants from across the nation throughout the
summer.
Swalls received a Victory Vegas motorcycle similar to
the one Chris Evans’ character, Johnny Storm, a.k.a. “Human Torch,”
rode in this summer’s action film, “Fantastic Four.”
“I've been
thinking about buying a motorcycle for quite a while, and now I'm a
proud Victory owner, payment-free,” said Swalls. “I'm not planning on
attempting any movie stunts, but I can't wait to get my bike on the
open road.”
Victory General Manager Mark Blackwell said the culmination of the Victory Challenge Sweepstakes capped a great summer.
“This year has been very exciting for Victory with record sales,
industry recognition and the excitement of being part of ‘Fantastic
Four,’” said Blackwell. “In addition, through the Victory Challenge we
were able to raise money for a great cause and showcase our
award-winning bikes, which have proven to be a hit both on screen and
off.”
Riders from across the country took part in the Victory
Challenge by test riding Victory Motorcycles at dealerships. Each
person who test rode a Victory between April and July 2005 received a
free “Fantastic Four” T-shirt and a chance to win a Victory Vegas
motorcycle. Plus, Victory donated $1 for each test ride to Kyle Petty’s
Victory Junction Gang Camp, a camp for children with chronic illnesses.
The Victory Challenge raised a total of $20,000 in 2005 for the camp
located in Randleman, N.C.
Additional information about the Victory Junction Gang Camp is available at www.victoryjunction.org.
