EXTRA NEW PHOTOS: Vegas Jackpot Debuts at Biketoberfest 2005
DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. -- With gradually approaching Hurricane Wilma on everyone’s mind. motorcyclists from across North America and around the world gathered here October 20-23, 2005, for Biketoberfest, the first event at which the all-new Vegas Jackpot was featured in the Victory demo fleet.

Riders lined up early and long to ride the Vegas Jackpot, as well as the Hammer, Vegas, Kingpin, Kingpin Deluxe and Touring Cruiser during the event held in steamy Florida humidity.

The Vegas Jackpot impressed riders with its unique combination of a super-fat 250mm rear tire, Freedom™ 100/6 drivetrain and traffic-stopping styling. An assortment of Vegas Jackpot paint schemes were featured in the demo fleet, as were both Ness Signature Series models. The latter models were personally styled by Victory styling partners Arlen and Cory Ness.

Arlen stopped by the Victory demo site at Daytona International Speedway on Thursday of Biketoberfest to greet the Victory team and welcome riders who were enjoying the Victory experience.

Victory also drew a steady stream of traffic at its product display on Beach Street, where the entire 2006 Victory lineup was on display along with Pure Victory apparel and accessories.

Hurricane Wilma was originally expected to reach Daytona Beach on the weekend, so many exhibitors adjusted their plans early in the week and were gone by Saturday. But the Victory crew monitored the weather projections and remained flexible so Victory demo rides could be offered through the end of Saturday afternoon.

Wilma roared across Florida on Monday, October 24, after most riders had headed home.

Victory invites all riders to return to Daytona Beach on March 3-12, 2006, for the city’s 65th annual Bike Week. Details about special events related to the “Victory Experience” at Bike Week will be posted on the VRA website as plans are finalized.

The 2006 edition of Biketoberfest is scheduled for October 20-23, 2006.
